I wanted to post some collages that I have put together of both the deep winter and toned winter palettes - I'm going to try some soft summer palettes as well, but for now I'm still playing around with Toned Winter and feel the most at home here:
Your coloring reminds me of Deep Soft Summer. It's very neutral, not too cool or too warm but leaning toward cool. Darker richer colors are better than muted shades. <3 The neutral coral pink lipstick you were wearing looked so gorgeous on you! It balances out your very cool eyes. ;)
Thanks so much Jess - I think that deep soft summer is definitely a palette I'd like to explore in more depth - I think I can wear the DSS and DSW well - I definitely need some level of soft and the darker, richer shades - for a very long time I thought I was SS, so DSS will be really fun to play around with - thanks so much for writing!!!
I think I may be a toned winter. Do you have any lipstick recomendations? I want to compare them to dark winter lipsticks. I like dark winter but something doesn't look quite right when I wear them.
Absolutely - try NARS fire down below and Chanel 'La Somptueuse' - they both match the DWS palette fan - I would compare them to shades like Media and Ruby Woo, which are more deep winter palette shades - hope this helps, keep me posted as to which palette works the best for you!!!
