My Colour Journey

My personal colour journey has been filled with many ups and downs, tee-tottering between seasons, self-doubt, uncertainty etc etc.  The great thing about this journey is that I now have a new sense of gratitude about finding my best colour palette - I feel like all those years of trying different palettes, all those 'What NOT to wear' moments, have prepared me for the moment when I can FINALLY be at peace with my true palette - I now feel like I can breathe easy, like the whole process and journey has been WORTH every second, every not so great makeup purchase - I feel like I have really grown and come into my own - I finally feel 'Mature' in this stage of my colour life!!! Its a fantastic feeling!  I wanted to share a little bit of my journey with you.  Here is a collage of me wearing the 'not so great' colour for me:

And finally, here I am embracing all that is amazing about my best colour palette - True Autumn - all the doubt, tee-tottering between Soft Autumn and True Autumn and feeling of uncertaintly are OVER:

I finally feel like my best self - like I've found my true colour harmony!!!  Its now time to stop the guessing and searching and more forward towards a new sense of personal growth within my true autumn season!  This is truely a day to celebrate - I am proud and honoured to embrace True Autumn!!!

Dear Renata, I know that I'm a bit late on commenting on this, but I just wanted to say how incredbily inspiring these two photo spreads are! It's like, you never look unnattractive, even when you wear purpley pink lipstick, but you just look YOURSELF when you wear your correct colours, and that's the most amazing bit! I think a lot of people are confused about the difference between looking ok in most things, and looking totally in tune with yourself in the right things. I myself have struggled a lot with the whole crossing my colour boundaries thing (as we all do) and the more I relax into my Soft Summer, the more I feel at ease with myself. The best part is? I've struggled with excess weight all my life, and since discovering my colours, I've been losing weight steadily ever since!

Thank you Sonia so much for writing - I really appreciate you sharing your feedback and compliments with me! I know how you feel about when you settle into your season, different parts of your life start to come together. I actually found that some toxic people in my life all of a sudden disappeared and I opened myself up to meeting new people - Its almost like accepting your true colours is an 'energetic' journey as much as a colour journey - its the lesson of learning to truly accept yourself!!! I once heard that shedding pounds is like shedding layers of 'protection' - I think that when you decide to become your best self, you don't need that sense of safety or protection anymore - Thanks again Sonia - you are so inspiring!!!
