Maybelline Warm Latte Lipstick

I have always been envious of those women who could pull off that nude lipstick look.  Everytime I would try on a nude lipstick, it would be either too light, too beige, too chalky looking, too pink etc etc - I've never had luck with finding my perfect nude lipstick - Until NOW - I've just discovered Maybelline's Warm Latte Lipstick and its the ideal nude lipstick shade for women with a warmer, golden olive complexion.  Instead of looking beigy and chalky, this lipstick is the perfect combination of golden-bronze, peach and a more golden-beige undertone.  I am so very happy to have discovered this colour - I created a look to go with this lipstick that is ideal for everyday - a classic natural look:

My New Everyday Natural Look:

Face: Mineral Fusion Foundation in Warm, MAC NC 30 concealer, Matte Bronze Bronzer, NARS Madly BLush

Eyes: Brule and Retrospeck mixed as base, Soba from lid into crease, Teddy eyeliner with Bronze eyeshadow smudged into upper lashline, Loft Brown Mascara (all MAC Products)

Lips: Maybelline Warm Latte

This is a wonderful color!
I love nude lipstick tones and always wear Estee Lauder's Vanilla Truffle, but maybe I should give a darker nuance like yours a try!
Matches perfectly your skin and hair tone!

Thank you so much Countess Clair for the compliment - yes, I think a darker nude is perfect for those days when you want a natural look!

Renata, the Warm Latte lipstick looks great on you! I'm going to give it a try.

What do you think about Revlon's Sandalwood Beige lipstick? It is often listed as a go-to lipstick for Autumns, but I find it looks strange on me - kind of a light orangey mud color. Not horrible like Cherries in the Snow would be, but not good either.

Thanks so much Anonymous - Sandalwood Beige is a very pretty True Autumn shade and looks quite natural on me - I'm thinking that if it leans too orange on you, you may be a soft autumn - or if its too 'muddy' - may mean that you need something brighter, which could mean one of the springs - Give MAC's Fanfare a try to see if you lean Soft Autumn and shades like MAC's costa chic, vegas volt and see sheer to see if you lean spring - would be an interesing experiement! Would love to hear your feedback and observations!!

Renata,
Warm latte looks beautiful on you!
What is your seasonal colouring?
I am a cool medium and deep coloured woman with the slightest gold peaking through my skin.Bold lips gives life to my face and muted pinks with blue undertone looks natural on me not nude.Like you said I die to try colors that look nude and natural on me for a day to day wear.
I was desperately wanting to buy Maybelline Latte Beige and want to hear your idea on this new colour this 2016.What do you think.I don't want to buy this just because it says Latte Beige and because I love cool beiges.
Thankyou,
Love ,
Beatrice

Hi Beatrice,
I was draped as a Warm Autumn colour type. This lipstick definitely matches the true/warm autumn palette. However, that being said, it can always be blended into a liner to make it cooler/deeper. There is a shade by Estee Lauder called Tiramisu that is quite pretty and more neutral (not as warm), or perhaps you can try a neutral-shimmery light pink. I suggest going with your instinct and trying this shade if you really like it. :)
