Top 3

I wanted to create a picture collage of my top 3 lipstick choices (all MAC lip colours) - Mocha (my everyday natural shade), Strength (my sophisticated day into night shade) and Chili (my elengant evening shade) - I want to perfect my So Chaud evening glam look, so stay tuned for an updated collage once I put a look together:

Collage 1:

                     Mocha                  Strength                 Chili

Ah, Renata -- you look good in them all!

I want to find my three colours too now! I do think 3 is better than 2, 2 is a bit either/or, whereas 3 is more fun. With 2, you have no choice, whereas with 3 you do-it's more flexible.
Anyway, I'm not there yet: I need to go through my 50+ wrong lipsticks and weed out the correct ones. They've got to be in there somewhere! There's a chance I'm missing the perfect "red" for evening. I've got my day time one (my equivalent of your mocha) but I need your strength and chili now! Certainly food for thought. Thank you for another wonderfully inspiring post (all of your posts are!!)

THank you so much Soni - what helped me was to take out all the lipsticks I currently used, then pick out the ones I loved the most - finally, i just started to pay attention to the ones I went to grab the most - mocha was a clear winner because its what I grab when I need a daytime look - Stength was a shade I got a lot of compliments on when I wore it and CHili just goes so well with everything in my true autumn wardrobe - it was almost like a 'pocess' of elimination thing and very eye-opening!

Thanks for your advice Renata, I'm going to do that this weekend- I'm sick and tired of having a drawer full of lipsticks I don't wear!

Chili looks so good on you! It is the perfect Deep Soft Summer red. I have yet to find one that is perfect for me. I'll have to try it.
